You must be at least 16 years old to use SKYLOQ. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 16 years old and that all information you provide is accurate and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Minors and users under 18. If you are under 18 years old, certain features of the Service are not available to you, including the community feed, posting, commenting, direct messaging, and networking and discovery features. Your profile is set to a restricted visibility mode by default and is not discoverable through search. We use your date of birth solely to determine which features are available to you and to verify eligibility. Parents and guardians of users aged 16โ17 may contact us at support@skyloq.app with any questions about their child's use of the Service.
We do not knowingly allow users under the age of 16 to create accounts. If you believe a user under 16 has created an account, please contact us at privacy@skyloq.app.
SKYLOQ offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis through our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Auto-renewal. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price and using the payment method on file, unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will not receive a separate notice before each renewal. To avoid renewal charges, you must cancel before the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access until that date.
Refunds. All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods or unused subscription time. We may, in our sole discretion, consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis in good faith. To request consideration of a refund, contact support@skyloq.app with the reason for your request.
Failed payments. Failed payments may result in suspension or downgrade of your account.
Price changes. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice.
App store subscriptions. If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, your subscription is subject to their respective billing terms and refund policies, which may differ from ours. Refund requests for in-app purchases must be directed to Apple or Google.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all necessary rights to post it. You agree that your User Content does not violate any law or the rights of any third party.
We do not endorse or verify User Content posted by other users. SKYLOQ reserves the right โ but has no obligation โ to monitor, remove, or restrict access to any User Content that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or our community standards.
You may choose to submit comments, ideas, suggestions, bug reports, feature requests, or other feedback regarding SKYLOQ ("Feedback"). You agree that SKYLOQ is free to use, disclose, reproduce, modify, license, and distribute any Feedback you provide for any purpose, without compensation, attribution, or any obligation to you.
You represent that any Feedback you submit is original to you or that you have the right to grant this license, and that your Feedback does not violate any third party's rights.

You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our express written permission.
You retain ownership of the data you enter into SKYLOQ, including your flight logs and profile information.
SKYLOQ respects the intellectual property rights of others. SKYLOQ LLC has registered a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office to receive notifications of claimed copyright infringement (Copyright Office registration DMCA-1072684). We will respond to valid notices in accordance with the DMCA. We reserve the right to terminate the accounts of users we determine, in our sole discretion, to be repeat infringers.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. SKYLOQ does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. We expressly disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SKYLOQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes but is not limited to damages arising from reliance on AI-generated content, flight planning decisions, or regulatory compliance matters.
Aviation-specific limitation. Without limiting the foregoing, SKYLOQ shall not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from or relating to flight operations, aircraft accidents or incidents, regulatory enforcement actions, certification decisions, training or examination outcomes, employment decisions, or any other aviation-related outcomes โ whether or not informed by your use of the Service. You are solely responsible for all aviation decisions.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100), or (b) the amount you paid to SKYLOQ in the twelve months preceding the claim.
By you. You may terminate your account at any time from within the app or by contacting support@skyloq.app. Upon termination, your subscription will not renew, but no partial refund will be issued for the current billing period.
By us. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. We will provide reasonable notice where practicable, except in cases involving suspected fraud, safety risks, or violations of law.
Data on termination. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request export of your data prior to termination by contacting support@skyloq.app. After termination, residual data may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.
SKYLOQ is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The following terms apply to your use of the Service through these platforms:
Informal resolution. Before filing a claim, you agree to attempt informal resolution by emailing support@skyloq.app with a description of your dispute. We will attempt in good faith to resolve disputes within 30 days.
Binding arbitration. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service ("Dispute") shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator in Wyoming, or remotely at your election. Judgment on the arbitrator's award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class action waiver. YOU AND SKYLOQ AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of representative or class proceeding.
30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to support@skyloq.app within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Opting out will not affect any other provisions of these Terms.
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to the arbitration provisions above, you and SKYLOQ submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of Wyoming.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SKYLOQ and its founders, officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or damages โ including reasonable attorneys' fees โ arising out of (a) your use or misuse of the Service, (b) your User Content, (c) your Feedback, (d) your violation of these Terms, or (e) your violation of any third party's rights or applicable law.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and SKYLOQ regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. You may not assign or transfer these Terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Notice. We may provide notice to you by email to the address associated with your account, by in-app notification, or by posting to our website. Notice is effective upon sending (for email or in-app) or upon posting (for website notices). You may provide notice to us by email to support@skyloq.app.
Force majeure. Neither party will be liable for any failure or delay in performance to the extent caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, governmental action, labor disputes, internet or telecommunications outages, or third-party service provider failures.
Survival. Sections governing AI-generated content and limitations, intellectual property, disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability, dispute resolution and arbitration, indemnification, and this General section will survive termination of these Terms or your account.
