SKYLOQ LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("SKYLOQ LLC," "we," "our," or "us"), is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use the SKYLOQ mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). SKYLOQ is part of the Cal Cove Labs portfolio of apps, operated by SKYLOQ LLC.
By using SKYLOQ, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We use your information to:
SKYLOQ uses artificial intelligence to power the assistant, insights, goal recommendations, and study summaries. To generate these, some of your information is sent to third-party AI providers, each of which operates under a data processing agreement with us.
The AI providers we use. Anthropic, PBC powers the AI assistant. Google LLC powers insights, goal recommendations, and study summaries. OpenAI and Pinecone Systems, Inc. support the search that retrieves relevant passages from our own aviation reference library.
What we send them. When you use the AI assistant, we send the message you write, the most recent messages in that conversation thread so the assistant has context, relevant passages from our reference library, and a summary of your pilot profile. That profile summary consists of your current role, target role, home base, your age and whether you are under 18, your logged flight hours by category, and your written exam results. For insights, goal recommendations, and study summaries we send your target role, logged hours, tracked certifications, and study progress. We send this information so that responses reflect where you actually are in your training rather than being generic.
What we do not send. We do not send your name, email address, profile photo, or payment information to any AI provider.
If you are under 18. Because your age and under-18 status form part of the profile summary described above, this information is shared with our AI assistant provider so that responses can be made age-appropriate. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than generating your response.
We also use the following categories of third-party services to operate the SKYLOQ platform:
AI training and your data. We do not use your personal information to train AI models. Our third-party AI service providers process your data solely to generate responses on our behalf, and under our agreements with them, your data is not used to train their AI models. Conversation data may be retained briefly by these providers for abuse monitoring before deletion, in accordance with their respective enterprise data policies.
Review of AI conversations. To monitor the quality and safety of the assistant, a limited number of authorized SKYLOQ personnel may review AI assistant conversations, including the content of messages, together with the account they belong to. This review is used to catch incorrect or unsafe responses, detect misuse of the assistant, and improve the Service.
Aggregated and anonymized usage data. We may analyze aggregated, anonymized usage patterns and trends (such as feature engagement, average usage statistics, and broad content patterns not tied to any individual) to improve the Service. This does not involve your personally identifiable information.

We do not sell your personal information. We share your data only in the following circumstances:
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. AI conversation threads may be archived after extended inactivity. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@skyloq.app. We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days, though timing may vary based on availability.
From time to time, SKYLOQ may offer pre-release features, advance versions, or testing programs to selected users. During these programs, we may review aggregated and anonymized usage patterns to improve the Service. We may also retain diagnostic data, crash logs, and feedback for longer than the standard retention windows described above to investigate bugs, validate fixes, and improve product quality. Participation in such programs is voluntary and may be discontinued at any time.
We implement industry-standard security measures including server-side access rules, encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), and authentication controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
SKYLOQ's minimum age is 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a user under the age of 16 has created an account, please contact us at privacy@skyloq.app and we will delete the account and associated data promptly.

Parents and guardians of users aged 16–17 may contact privacy@skyloq.app with questions or requests regarding their child's account.
You have rights regarding the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@skyloq.app. We will verify your identity by matching against your account information before processing any request.
We do not sell your personal information. We do use third-party services to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns (such as ad conversion tracking), which may involve cookies and limited data sharing with the advertising platform. You can decline these technologies through our cookie consent banner.
SKYLOQ is intended exclusively for users located in the United States. We do not direct our services to, or offer them in, any other country. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you do so at your own discretion and risk, and you remain responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. Material changes - including changes to data categories collected, purposes of use, sharing practices, or your rights - will trigger a renewed acceptance flow within the app. Non-material changes (typos, formatting, expanded clarification of existing practices) will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date.
